**Overview**

The Training Co-ordinator is central to ensuring our team of Hourly, Night, and Live-in Caregivers have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver premium care and support in the community. You will mainly be based at our office in Loudwater (HP11 1EX) with some field duties such as Caregiver sign-offs and spot checks but it may also be possible that an element of home working can be woven into the working week.

**Who Will Be There to Support You**

Besides working alongside an incredibly supportive Managing Director, Registered Manager and Operations Manager, RaH has an industry-leading 25-strong Head Office providing dedicated face-to-face support in many crucial areas including; Training, Marketing, Recruitment, Compliance and Business Support.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Training Co-ordinator**
- Arrange and deliver Caregiver induction training at predetermined intervals in line with recruitment needs
- Assess the competency of Caregivers completing the Care Certificate and regularly feedback on their progress to the Registered Manager and Care Coordinator
- Support new Caregivers through the onboarding process and early days out in the community
- Maintain accurate and up to date training records for all staff in accordance with company requirements and regulatory bodies
- Ensure the training Matrix is up to date at all times
- Liaise with Care Co-ordinator to ensure staff are available to attend refresher training well in advance of certification expiry
- Arrange, book, deliver and record additional training that has been identified via observations, spot checks and supervisions
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training and source regular feedback from attendees
- Look for opportunities to utlise 3rdparties to deliver specialist training to upskill both the office and Caregiver teams

**To be considered for this rare opportunity we would expect you to be able offer many of the following Qualifications and Skills**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Administering Medication
- Previous experience of delivering training within a Health and social care setting
- Hands-on experience of delivering Care within a Domiciliary or Residential care setting
- A formal training or teaching qualification such as PTLLS or AET
- Driving licence with daily access to a car (this is essential)

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office and experience of using a Scheduling or CRM type system
- Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple workloads
- Upbeat, positive and flexible
- Confident and clear presentation style
