Job Description

Puratos is excited to introduce a new role in our Operations Team, based in Buckingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position may involve travel to other UK sites as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and implement comprehensive training programs covering necessary skills and knowledge areas within the organisation.
  2. Evaluate staff retention of knowledge from training and ensure consistent compliance levels are maintained at agreed standards.
  3. Conduct training sessions for production and warehouse operators, focusing on core manufacturing processes, including Food Safety, Allergens, Risk Assessments, SOPs, etc.
  4. Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  5. Maintain Document Control Systems and Site Training in conjunction with the Compliance Manager.
  6. Coordinate mandatory compliance training for new starters, verifying competence within 12 weeks of employment commencement.
Requirements:
  • Training-based qualification or certification (desired).
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to identify and implement improvement ideas.
  • Experience in a training role within the manufacturing sector.
  • GCSE level maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects successfully.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
