Caregiver Assistant

In this role, you will be responsible for performing personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties, preparing meals, and assisting clients with eating and drinking. You will also run errands, including shopping for groceries and essential household items, and help clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs and back.
The ideal candidate will have proven work experience as a Direct Care Worker or similar role and extensive knowledge of best practices in the provision of direct care. They should also have experience in administering prescribed medications and treatments and exceptional ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care, and hygiene needs. Additionally, they should be able to perform basic housekeeping duties, run errands, and prepare meals. Relevant training and/or certifications in Direct Care Working are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:

- Run errands, including shopping for groceries and essential household items.
- Help clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs and back.
Requirements:

- Experience in administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Exceptional ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care, and hygiene needs.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year.
