Morson are proud to be partnering with an engineering company based in East Lancs, looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer on a permanent basis.

This is a progressive business looking to bring in an experienced **Chief Financial Officer**, with ‘Start up’ environment experience.

I am specifically looking for individuals who are very Driven, Ambitious, open minded and can create a vision that is challenging yet achievable.

I’m looking for the person equivalent to a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ to support with HR challenges, IT challenges, Tax and even Company Branding. Someone who enjoys being ‘in the thick of it’.

**Accountabilities of the Chief Financial Officer** will include:

- Leadership of the finance team and all related activities including budgeting, business planning, financial reporting and controls, and development and implementation of effective financial strategies.
- Oversee the successful and smooth completion of the Annual Report and Accounts for FY22/23.
- Ensure that the Company’s financial and management data and information is high quality and drives timely and robust decision making at all levels.
- Leadership of the Company’s teams providing services for procurement, estates, information services, project management, security and health and safety.
- Ensure the Company has a coherent, compelling and strategic approach to measuring and delivering value for money and efficiency.

**What we are looking for -**
- Fully qualified accountant, ACA/ ICAEW/ ACCA/ CIMA
- Extensive experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
- Track record of influencing outcomes within an executive team and Board environment and ability to contribute horizontally across a range of issues both within the CFO domain and more broadly across the organisation.
- Track record of achieving outcomes using highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- A people leader who is well versed at supporting colleagues effectively through a period of uncertainty and has personal commitment to the Company’s values
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience of developing and overseeing a strategic approach to budgeting, planning forecasting, and performance reporting that is risk-based and coordinated across the organisation.
- High-level of personal integrity and authenticity.
