Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Goodman Masson. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and front desk reception duties, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer and transfer incoming calls.
- Handle and distribute mail and packages.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and visitors professionally and courteously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- Salary of £23,088 (pro-rata)
- Annual pay scale increase
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays (pro-rata)
- Fully on-site
- Part-time position, working hours will be 12:30pm-5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- Temporary contract until 31st March 2025
