We have a great opportunity working on our Inpatient wards in Royal Sussex County Hospital, for a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team of Ward Administrators.
There are Full time positions 6 month fixed term contract - 37.5 hours - Shift pattern Monday - Sunday 0800-1600 & 1200-2000
We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic, and motivated ward administrators for our fast paced and friendly Inpatient Team to help ensure adequate coverage of duties across a defined group of wards and departments,. You will be working to ensure the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, dealing with patients’ medical notes and being responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into our PAS system for the purposes of patient care and data quality

The role includes a wide range of general administration tasks including working mainly with PAS Careflow System and Symphony. Other tools include Outlook, Excel, Word, Spine Portal, Bloodhound or Panda. Previous experience on our systems is not required as training will be provided, however computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
