It is an exciting period for Evergreen Care Trust as we respond to the ever changing and current needs in providing quality care and support designed to promote independent living. We are looking for professional home support members to assist and encourage our members with support within their own home, duties vary and can include working in a person-centred way to provide companionship, respite care, food preparation, domestic cleaning, pop in visits, laundry, and shopping needs.

You will be working closely with our members and their families therefore you are you will be required to be reliable, conscientious, caring, have good communication skills and be flexible in your approach.

The role requires providing respectful and caring support, able to think on your feet, stay calm and importantly encourage members to continue doing what they are able and want to do for as long as they can. Home Support Workers operate within Health and Social Care legislation guidelines.

**What you'll need**

A willingness to learn and understand the health and wellbeing of those you serve. You will be encouraged to undertake the national Care Certificate and other health and social care training opportunities we will support you in the achievement of this. Previous experience in the support of older or vulnerable people in their own homes, working to plan, working as part of an organisation and inter agency team would be beneficial but not essential as we will train and support you in this.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week
