This is an exciting time to become one of our valued members of staff. The home support assistants provide high quality domestic assistance to promote independence and provide companionship to the elderly and vulnerable whilst providing a service that is much needed and appreciated.

Duties vary and can include working in a person-centred way to provide companionship, respite care, food preparation, domestic cleaning, pop in visits, laundry, shopping visits and companionship.

You will be working closely with our service users and their families, you will need to demonstrate, professionalism, empathy, and commitment.

Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle, the service runs between 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday, with no bank holiday or weekend working required.

Home Support Workers operate within Health and Social Care legislation guidelines.

**What you'll need**

Previous experience in the support of older or vulnerable people in their own homes, working to plan, working as part of an organisation and inter agency team would be beneficial but not essential as we will train and support you in this.
