About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience in our care homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity
  • Support residents with their food and drink, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Follow care plans and provide individualized care to residents, as required
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of caring for older people, preferably in a care home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
  • A can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
