About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with complex needs, providing companionship, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and other complex needs.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Accompany clients on outings and social activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare, preferably in a care assistant or support worker role.
- Ability to administer medication, use moving and handling equipment, and communicate effectively in Punjabi or Urdu.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
