An exciting opportunity has opened up in the councils Waste and Recycling Team for a Recycling & Partnership Officer to support the development and delivery of the councils recycling strategy and policies. The wider team works to deliver a customer focused service in the areas of waste collection, waste awareness and waste strategy.

There are significant changes on the horizon for the Waste and Recycling industry, so this is an interesting and exciting time to join the service.

What you'll be doing...

*To support the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the council's recycling strategy and action plans.
*To develop, support and where appropriate lead the development of recycling services and initiatives that; increase performance, deliver efficiencies and generate income.

You must have...

*Graduated in Environmental Sciences (or equivalent)
*Demonstrable experience in a similar or related role
*In-depth knowledge of waste and recycling issues in a similar or related role
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Excellent report writing and presentation skills
*Hold full driving licence and able to use own vehicle
