We are looking for a full-time Support Assistant to join our fantastic team here at Oak Ridge, which is situated on the east side of Inverness, close to the city centre.

Oak Ridge is a privately owned establishment, which was purpose-built and provides accommodation and a housing support service to 16 adults with a mild learning disability. At Oak Ridge, we aim to enhance each tenant’s ability to sustain and manage their tenancy. We are committed to enabling our tenants to live their lives to the fullest potential, whilst providing them with a high-quality service, based on their individual assessed needs and wishes.

**About the Role**

As a Support Assistant, you must have an enabling attitude, be motivated and caring, and have a fun and friendly nature. As part of your role, you will be supporting tenants with daily living tasks such as preparing / cooking meals, attending appointments, building and maintaining relationships with families/ friends, activities within their house, and social outings of their choice.

We work in 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8am & 10pm.

We also provide a welcome bonus to new staff who complete our 3-month Induction Training Programme.

**Support Assistant Requirements**

A commitment to a person-centred approach working in line with the Health and Social Care Standards: my support, my life.

SVQ2 is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided and support given to complete this qualification.

Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Group Scheme Record.

**Location requirement**

We are based in the east of Inverness, close to the city centre you would be required to reliably commute or plan to relocate before commencing work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
