**What do you’ll do**
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our facilities team in our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis. The standard hours for this role are 08:30- 16:45. This is a varied role to provide support and gain experience within a busy law firm.
You will be providing facilities support to the Exeter office to include assisting with the running of the post room, administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanning, and assisting with reprographics as and when is required. Duties also include keeping the kitchens, client suite and common areas within our Exeter office tidy and well stocked.
This role is also responsible for covering reception during busy periods or planned absence, which would include greeting clients and visitors to the office; ensuring discretion and professionalism. You will assist in providing refreshments for Client meetings and the ordering of catering when necessary. As well as covering reception, you may sometimes cover Switchboard; ensuring a friendly and professional approach when taking calls and ensuring these are assisted with efficiently.

You'll be an enthusiastic, well-organised self-starter who enjoys working within a busy team, as well as independently; and will demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the firm and its people.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels. You will have the ability to be responsive to the commercial needs of the business and use initiative to effectively manage workload; remaining calm under pressure.
