**About the role**

VoiceAbility has been awarded a new contract working with Essex County Council’s All Age Autism Partnership.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Speak Out Facilitators to join our new team in Essex, reporting to the Connections Team Leader.

Your role will require you to travel within Essex, to support our Speak Out team of employees and volunteers who all have their own lived experience of autism. You will support them in their role working with the All Age Autism Partnership.

You will be home based for administrative tasks. The post is a 24-month fixed term contract with a starting salary between £22,500 - £29,500 per annum pro-rata DOE.

**How will you make a difference?**

You will work with the Connections Team Leader and people with lived experience to develop and deliver client focussed, innovative and high quality projects/services to meet the needs of autistic people.

You will support them to co-produce working groups, lead and/or attend external and internal meetings ensuring the views of their peers are captured, recorded and shared with those that can make a difference and help to identify campaigning issues.

**About you**

We’d like to hear from you if you
- Have worked or volunteered with people who have lived experience of autism
- Have experience in a role that requires outstanding communication skills to achieve excellent results
- Are competent in the use of IT, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, databases and PowerPoint
- Have an understanding of the various social, educational and emotional impacts facing autistic people (in a volunteering or employed role
