A great opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our growing Marine Technology client.

The job holder will report to the Regional Financial Controller and support the Finance Team with a variety of activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Daily posting and allocation of customer cash receipts and vendor payments
- Processing vendor invoices into Xero accounting package
- Weekly reconciliation of the bank statement to the nominal ledger
- Preparing weekly vendor payment runs
- Dealing with customer queries, invoice queries and requests for copy invoices in an effective and timely manner
- Supporting the Regional Financial Controller with month end reporting
- Managing the Company debt ledger to credit terms including weekly reporting to the Senior Management Team
- Obtaining WHT deduction certificates from customers
- New customer account set up including credit checks
- Preparing non-trade recharge invoices
