RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a french bistro that offers rustic family-style cooking, all meals are fresh and cooked from scratch.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our dedicated team on a full-time, 4 days a week, basis.

As a Sous Chef, you need to be knowledgeable about menu items and be aware of commodities used, methods, preparation and cooking to ensure a consistently high level of food service at all times. You will also work closely on stock control and ordering andwork with management to continually refresh and improve the food offering.

**Role Requirements**
- Work closely with the Head Chef in regards to menu planning
- Have a minimum of 2 years working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level
- Great communication skills
- Passion for producing the perfect dish every time
- Ability to work under intense pressure
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be organised and precise
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking and able to demonstrate a real passion in their role
- Be attentive and able to take instructions

While working as a Sous Chef, you will gain a vast cross-section of transferable skills such as organisation, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, diligence and attention to detail that can be utilised in many roles and industries.
