**Job Summary**:

- Onshore HSE Leadership role for Turnarounds in 2024 and 2025, leading the HSE team for these events and delivering through the team
- The TAR HSE Lead is expected to lead the support, advice and assurance on Health, Safety and Environmental matters to the TAR Manager, Site Supervision and the Workforce, enabling leaders to discharge legal obligations and to meet TAR HSSE Performance Objectives
- This is a proactive role with a high degree of vigilant and engagement in HSSE performance monitoring and systems maintenance with continual improvement. Visibly demonstrate Safety and Environmental Leadership skills on-site, including carrying out satisfactory HS&E interventions
- Act as integrator of HSE topics with TAR Manager, Onshore Ops Team and Onshore HSE Team
- Influencing a TAR team consisting of a multi-company workforce
- Reports to TAR Manager

**Main Tasks**:

- Provision of HS&E related information, advice, coaching and training of occupational HSE matters
- Assist with the detailed planning and execution of the HSE Turnaround Plan, including advising where we can introduce safety from the work specification
- Sponsor Audits and Incident investigation with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Hazard management.
- HS&E System’s monitoring, maintenance, review & development

**Key Accountabilities/Deliverables**:

- Provision of HSE related information, advice, coaching and training of occupational HSE matters
- Lead the detailed planning and execution of the HSE T/A Plan
- Coordinate audits and assurance tasks
- HSE system monitoring, maintenance, review and development
- Identification of T/A hazard management
- Incident investigation management including RCA
- Provide advice and support on HSE matters to T/A onshore and offshore team and wider workforce
- Facilitate meetings with contractor HSE managers
- Develop strategies to engage with workforce relating to coaching and supervision expectations
- Systematically monitor site activities to help ensure compliance with regulatory commitments, whilst working with the regulator and communicating on a consistent basis
- Strategic planning of policies, procedures and standards associated with op’s safety
- Champion awareness of LRS and behavioral management
- Lead the delivering of HSE tasks with HSE professionals
- Support risk assessments, COSHH assessments, manual handling assessments etc
- Support platform offshore team with hazard management training and competence
- LOD1 program development for pre, execution and post turnaround

Skills / Qualifications:
**Essential Skills/Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH or equivalent
- Significant experience in an equivalent or similar role in the oil and gas or other high hazard industry
- Involvement in the implementation, support and/or management of a Corporate Safety Culture program
- Human Factors and behaviours
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of HSE tools, methods, practices and principles and experience with maintaining compliance with UK Legislation
- Relevant familiarization in training and coaching of personnel
- Training and experience in accident/incident investigations using a proven root cause analysis methodology
- Experience implementing and maintaining a behavioral based safety system
