**Job description**:
**Main accountabilities**:

- Developing and maintaining systems and procedures to continually improve the company’s HSE performance
- Encourage and promote best practice throughout the company’s operations both on and offshore
- Provide advice, guidance and information relating to all HSE matters, existing and proposed legislation, codes of practice, industry standards etc., as well as procedures and organisation necessary to comply with them
- Ensure compliance with new and existing regulatory, voluntary or expected customer standards
- Conducting and facilitating risk assessments, development of HSE plans and other relevant documentation in support of the TechnipFMC fleet operations
- Interface with all onshore, offshore and other relevant parties on HSE matters
- Monitor the safety performance and key performance indicators of assigned vessels and intervene when required
- Monitor compliance with management system standards (i.e. ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Monitors effectiveness of safety awareness programmes providing support and guidance
- Lead or support incident investigation and contribute as required
- Ensure incident reports are timely drafted in consultation with asset operations / subsea business units
- Assist with post incident management and close-out of any incidents with relevant parties
- Coordinates close out of findings or recommendations, for improvements that may arise from HSE and audit activity with the responsible manager
- Carrying out internal and external HSE audits of worksites and any subcontractor activities
- Provide support to ensure that non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to HSE matters are reported, and that corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence
- In cooperation with other departments, ensure that sufficient training and instruction in HSE matters is provided f for the workforce
- Liaise with external bodies as required
- Proactively offer HSE related solutions that will improve OneFleet HSE performance and compliance

**Qualifications (professional, technical, academic)**:
**Essential**:

- A relevant HSE qualification to national examination board in occupational safety and health (NEBOSH) diploma level or equivalent
- Auditor accredited with ISM/ISO accredited organisation
- Active member of a recognised professional body for safety and health (e.g. IOSH)
- Experience of delivering HSE training and behavioural based safety training

**Typical background and experience required**:
**Essential**:

- Good knowledge and experience in marine industry HSE practices, incident investi ation and auditing
- Capable of producing timely, reports for senior management

**Nice to have**:

- At least 3 years of providing HSE advice in a dynamic offshore marine environment within the construction industry

- Recognise the ‘ownership' of HSE control within their sphere of activity and lead by example
