**Treasury Compliance Manager**
**London**

As a Barclays Treasury Compliance Manager, you will provide ‘Business Oversight Compliance’ coverage and support to Barclays’ Treasury teams by overseeing conduct related controls and helping Treasury ensure the right outcomes for clients, investors and markets are embedded in decision making. You will focus on the market facing trading, structuring and issuance teams in Treasury be a part of the Markets Compliance team locally and Treasury Compliance team globally.

**Working Flexibly**

**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing technical advice with in-depth knowledge of relevant rules and regulations
- Developing effective partnerships with key stakeholders/trading teams, Compliance colleagues and other infrastructure areas
- Reviewing and advising on transaction proposals and new and amended products
- Participating in relevant governance processes and forums
- Acting as a point of contact for Treasury on applicable Policies, Standards, procedures, rules or regulations and internal controls
- Conducting targeted testing for areas under coverage and supporting Compliance Assurance colleagues
- Conducting new hire, ad-hoc and annual Compliance training sessions for business
- Managing any escalations or requests from Compliance Services teams, such as Surveillance and Employee Compliance

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience working in Treasury or Markets Compliance or a closely related role
- Sound stakeholder and relationship management skills to build relationships, make impactful contributions and effectively influence outcomes
- Able to analyse and interpret Policies, Standards or Regulatory rules and their impact on the business
- Prior experience with controls testing or assurance activities

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Sound knowledge of Rates products and applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Able to navigate structured transactions to assess conduct or reputation risks.

**Where will you be working?**
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
