Overview of role

**Location**: Maidenhead

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Category Executive to join our Category team. The role will be instrumental in driving category growth for our customers and Allied Bakeries and thought leadership in key customers through proactive category relationships. The role will also provide the continuous insights needed by the business, identifying and recommending opportunities for both short term gains and long term strategic development.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of working in Maidenhead and from home.

Key Accountabilities
Responsible for driving a proactive category relationship within key customers
Provide ongoing continuous insights internally and externally
Managing Allied Bakeries’ 4 weekly continuous insights reports, and presenting key learnings and recommendations at internal Commercial forums
Support the Category and Sales teams with short and long term category, shopper, and customer strategy developments
Provide capability training and ongoing usage understanding of continuous data such as Nielsen/Kantar
The Right Person

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude that has previous experience of working in a commercial role, You will have excellent communication and data anaysis skills that will enable you to turn data into insights and recommendations. Your collaborative approach and ability to present data in an engaging and commercially focused way, will quickly help you to build credibility and work effectively across functions.

You will be analytically minded and be curious and confident enough to challenge the status quo.
