The role requires that the person is at the refuge, you will be in contact with service users and families.

Deliver high quality and in-depth telephone and face-to-face needs and risk assessments in order to place women and children escaping DVA in the most appropriate service for their needs.

Advise women and professionals via telephone on options for staying safe and independent or to access refuge accommodation.

Work with the RB Greenwich's Housing Options Team to assess the suitability of referrals for the borough's Sanctuary scheme and liaise with the appropriate RBG teams to install required security/devices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver a high quality referral line service, including a full needs and risk assessment in order to provide women with a range of appropriate options including signposting to other agencies and access to refuge accommodation
- Provide effective telephone advice, information and support to women and children who are living with or fleeing domestic violence
- Provide effective telephone advice, information and support to other statutory and voluntary agencies who are seeking advice for their clients who may be experiencing or escaping domestic abuse
- Cover the Referral and Information line between 12.00 - 8.00pm. Monday - Friday.
