As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will work closely with students, families, and school staff to provide support and guidance to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Your role will include:

- Building positive and trusting relationships with students, acting as a mentor and advocate.
- Providing emotional support and guidance for students facing personal or academic difficulties.
- Working closely with parents/guardians and external agencies to coordinate support services for students.
- Developing and implementing strategies and interventions to promote positive behavior and well-being.
- Assisting in the implementation of the school's pastoral care policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with young people in a similar role or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, behavior management strategies, and approaches to student support.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures and regulations.

£26,609 - £28,770 (Grade 6) DOE

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with young people in a similar role or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, behavior management strategies, and approaches to student support.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures and regulations.
