Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Support to work in secondary schools based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting young people aged 11-16 and be confident in managing challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will act as a role model for students and staff, demonstrating high-quality pastoral care and support. This includes working in an 'on call' capacity, ensuring students are in their lessons and providing support to classroom teachers as needed.

Required Skills: To succeed in this role, you will need excellent diplomacy and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to engage with students and build rapport. You should also have a high-level understanding of vulnerable students and be able to implement and monitor behaviour management strategies.

Salary Estimate: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
