We are seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer to support the Company Secretary in ensuring the institution maintains corporate compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, and codes of practice. Supporting development and review of policy, you will also act as first point of contact for compliance related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

You will have working knowledge of UK Data Protection Act 2018 and/or GDPR and risk management frameworks including risk registers. Sensitivity to difficult and challenging circumstances including maintaining confidentiality/discretion under the Data Protection Act is essential.

To be successful in this role you will be able to deliver key objectives within challenging timeframes, be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and competent using Microsoft Office.

*This role can be based at home and our London or Canterbury Office. We would require you to attend onsite on occasion at either our London or Canterbury Office for training, events and meetings where necessary.

**Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 pa FTE, (£16,000 - £17,000 pro rata), dependent on experience**

**Hours: 20 Hours (ideally across 5 days, Monday to Friday but can be flexible and discussed at interview)**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
