Based in Bramley

An opportunity has arisen, due to retirement, for an administrator bookkeeper within our small family Funeral Directors. A good knowledge of bookkeeping is essential, good IT skills as well as being able to work on your own within the team.

**Key responsibilities**

Day to day bookkeeping and preparing yearly figures for our accountant.

Preparing and filing VAT returns

Preparing outgoing accounts for clients and following up bad debts

Bank reconciliation

Preparing salaries

General office duties

We are a small family run firm of Funeral Directors with a flexible and friendly environment. Working hours are from 9-00am to 5-00pm with 4 weeks, plus statutory days, holiday a year and we run a contributory pension scheme.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds, LS13 4BL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
