London, United Kingdom Principles for Responsible Investment Full time

**LOCATION**:Hybrid - London, UK
- **SALARY**: £66,000 - £78,000 (GBP)
- **CLOSING DATE**:8:00pm, 17th Mar 2024 GMT

As a business we have an ambitious agenda to tackle some of the most pressing ESG issues in the world today. As an employer, we have a commitment, vision, and ambition to do more to create an equitable and inclusive workplace as well. Building on the implementation of our first DEI Strategy in 2022, this role will play a key role in creating an equitable, inclusive and engaging culture in which diversity can thrive and all employees feel like they belong.

Together we will drive change within the PRI and beyond and your role will be at the heart of this.

Varied and exciting, and at times challenging, the work you will do will be incredibly worthwhile. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference within the organisation and to its employees. You will be working with managers and employees at all levels to influence, inform and plan the DEI work across the entire organisation. You will also be working on projects which seek to build an enabled and engaged culture, including people development.

We are looking for a self-starter who can draw learning from a range of sources and interpret data to propose meaningful initiatives and organisational changes. We need someone with substantial experience of both project management and DEI work which will enable you to navigate the complexities and challenges of delivering on a DEI strategy in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment during a period of organisational change. Experience of people and culture processes and projects would also be beneficial (e.g. performance reviews, policy implementation).

You will need to be comfortable facilitating challenging conversations and speaking truth where it is needed. You must also be able to support colleagues at every level of the organisation on their journey towards feeling confident and competent to engage with DEI issues, creating a safe environment that facilitates learning and growth. Most of all, we want someone who reflects who we are as an organisation - forward looking, with a commitment to the people we work with and continuously improving our services and culture. We are a people focused and can-do organisation that strives for excellence and operates with mutual respect. Your role will be a highly visible and approachable point of contact for our colleagues from underrepresented groups when they need support. You must care passionately about their experiences, actively listening to their feelings, perspectives and concerns and responding with empathy. If you share these values and behaviours and have the necessary skills and experience, then this would be a super role for you.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Partner with our Executives, leaders and employees to encourage ownership for delivery of our DEI Strategy
- Support our Directors and Senior Managers to ensure competence and confidence in leading on DEI within their areas and incorporating it into BAU
- Working with all teams to upskill staff to ensure they are confident and competent to engage with DEI issues and create inclusive and equitable environments
- Track DEI strategy and action plan progress against agreed measures of success, metrics and maintain an updated dashboard
- Project manage the delivery of DEI and certain People Development & Culture projects (or be active as part of project group)
- Work with the Director of People Development and Culture on embedding newly identified culture initiatives
- Coordinate with established employee networks and working groups and identify key individuals to support the work they deliver on, ensuring it is aligned to their terms of reference and reflective of the organisational DEI vision
- Build and cultivate open working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve desired outcomes and expand our DEI practices
- Use our available DEI data to identify trends and propose and implement appropriate changes that drive measurable improvements.
- Research, develop, and introduce appropriate policies
- Work with the Senior Recruitment Partner to report on DEI initiatives, identifying areas to innovate processes
- Maintain existing DEI training where relevant and work to expand broader training programme available for employees.
- Support in delivering against the People and Culture team’s business plan
- Provide regular reporting to the Director of People Development & Culture and the Chief People & Culture Officer as required
- Facilitating meetings, workshops and coaching managers on DEI issues

**Person Specification**:

- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of DEI
- Excellent networking, relationship management and interpersonal skills and experience of building strong and productive relationships at a senior level
- Evidence of implementing a DEI strategy within a growing organisation and translating strategy into practical
