**Experience in a similar role within Investment is ESSENTIAL**
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a global Investment firm based in the City on a 12 month fixed term basis, covering maternity leave.
You will have worked in a similar role within Investment, intermediate Excel skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
**The Role**:

- Weekly reporting
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly cost and variance analysis, cost forecasts
- Ownership of sales ledger billing
- Involvement in balance sheet reconciliations, leases, fixed assets etc.
- Act as first point of contact for all client invoicing
- Debtor management
- Maintain the Contract database
- Ensure compliance with all internal audit and finance procedures
- Manage the month-end close processes o sub ledgers
- Improving and developing KPIs

Essential requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar role in Investment
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Highly organised
- Fast learner with a flexible attitude
