Our client are one of the most experienced providers of care in the UK, and their sole purpose is to help turn children's lives around. They are looking for an organised Health & Safety Lead to join their hardworking team.

Alongside an incredibly rewarding environment, you will be afforded 25 days’ holiday, paid expenses, and hybrid working options (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and keen Health & Safety professional to utilise their skills to manage a high standard of H&S for the organisation as a whole.

**Your main duties as Health & Safety Lead will include**:

- Reviewing and developing Health & Safety policies
- Monitoring safe practices in all areas of the organisation
- Delivering appropriate training to certain personnel
- Coordinating Health & Safety assessments, visits, and audits
- Organising bi-annual National H&S Meetings
- Investigating, reviewing, and reporting accidents and incidents
- Producing/presenting monthly reports of collected safety data
- Other duties as required

**Skills and experience needed to fulfil this role**:

- NEBOSH qualification
- Knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Experience taking responsibility for Health & Safety in the workplace
- Have previously created H&S policies and procedures, forms, and templates
- Willing to travel/conduct visits where necessary
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to produce clear reports
- IT competent
