Mental Health Learning Support Assistant

Do you want the opportunity to support the holistic well-being of young adults while helping them to achieve their educational goals?
The role will involve working 1:1 with pupils developing personal and professional relationships while assisting them with lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers and other professionals. Class sizes are usually 5 to 10 pupils and much of the role requires positive behaviour management and coaching skills to keep pupils and the classroom in a calm environment. The school caters for pupils from KS2-KS4 and we would find your work with the Key Stage you feel most comfortable working with.
- Will have experience working with young people
- A passion to make a difference and help pupils with SEMH
- Must be a great communicator
- Have a calm approach
- knowledge of behaviour management methods and behaviour de-escalation.
- Graduate level or equivalent
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week
**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day
