Account Payable Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen at East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust for a keen, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Financial Services Department.

The role will require a mix of office based working located at the Colchester Hospital site and working from home as required.

Financial Services very much supports this approach and our teams work from home where possible.

**Your principal responsibilities will be**:

- Ensuring the processes involved in the payment of accounts payable invoices run efficiently and effectively in line with department procedures and timescales in accordance with the Trust’s financial instructions
- For training of new Accounts Payable Clerks and the on-going supervision of the team, including co-ordination of their workload on a daily basis.
- Dealing with routine and complex queries both internally and from suppliers, providing assistance as required.
- Support Deputy Head of Financial Services with the day-to-day management and ongoing development of financial accounting systems and procedures for the Accounts Payable Team.

If you are passionate about patient care and want to develop your skills and knowledge then we are keen to hear from you.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal to assist with remote team management when required.
- Have the ability to work from home or in the office as required
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Qualified Associated of Accounting Technician or have equivalent relevant experience.
- Have good IT skills and demonstrate experience of using computerised financial ledgers, word processing and spreadsheets
