**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a PR Assistant to be based in our Manchester office, who will support the wider PR account teams working across a portfolio of consumer and corporate client accounts; assisting with administrative tasks, monitoring media coverage; including online and print publications, researching and gathering information for the PR team, assisting with the coordination and logistics for all PR events on behalf of the client, maintaining files and records, processing department invoices and other general administrative duties.

This is an entry level role and perfect for someone who is looking to start their career within the PR and communications industry. You will join a dynamic team, delivering creative PR, digital, and social media campaigns being hands on in the day-to-day supporting of accounts, contributing to the continued growth and success of the team while building on your own skillset.

This opportunity will suit someone with a genuine enthusiasm and ambition to work in a creative PR agency, who has capabilities in writing high quality and creative copy and is excited by the prospect of establishing trusted relationships with key media across all platforms to ensure high level of media coverage is delivered for our client campaigns across a range of high profile accounts.

You’ll be social media savvy and looking to gain experience and develop a better understanding of the wider media and influencer landscape whilst learning how to create unique and engaging content and being involved with planning and executing client events.

This is a fabulous opportunity for either graduates in PR/Communications or Journalism or those with related experience in these areas looking to join a fast paced agency team and gain hands on experience of working with some of the most exciting brands around.

**You’ll need**:

- This is a fast paced role so you’ll need to be highly organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise your work load and enjoy a deadline driven environment
- Have a proactive approach and enjoy working with several teams
- Excellent writing skills and effective storytelling techniques
- Along with excellent time management skills you’ll have excellent attention to detail
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
- Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
- A genuine passion for PR and communications
- Either a related academic qualification or previous experience within PR/communications or journalism
