The role of the Senior Projects & Certification Co-Ordinator has become necessary to SMP due to the strategic uptake in its order book profile and position in its operating field. The Projects & Certification Co-Ordinator is required to provide Project support and coordination, providing coordination between the Design Team and Production Project Engineers. The position requires the person to be pivotal in the production team with an open-minded approach to tight deadlines and meticulousness in detail.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate engineering and design processes utilising the company’s MRP Systems
- Instigation and evaluation of Project scopes and communication with the Management Team
- Develop and review Project strategies and monitor Company processes
- Evaluation of Project scopes and recommendations to the Management Team
- Produce and maintain project BOMs and expedite and change as required
- interacting with other departments when required
- Assisting the Design Team with any Project related work
- Liaison between stakeholders including Design, Engineering, Quality Control and Purchasing
- Assisting the Management Team/Directors with any other duties as necessary
- Liaising with the Engineering Team Leaders to ensure the completion of Project Certification
- Assist in production scheduling and milestone activities
- Keep senior Management advised of production deadlines, costings and shortfalls through regular reporting structures
- Develop company Project Strategies and processes
- Create and update project schedules and monitoring tools
- Monitor and report production costs against project budgets

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience using ERP, MRP and Data Management systems
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- An organised person with a high level of attention to detail
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Capacity to learn new systems and databases
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks in conjunction and time management skills

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs

**Wage**:
TBC per annum - Subject to experience and knowledge
