**6-Month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover)**
**Company**
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term 6-month contract for maternity cover to join a small business in the golf promotional gift and event branding market, who are growing at a fast pace through new product development and service offerings.
**What does the role involve?**
The Accounts Administrative Assistant is a part-time hours 20 hours per week over 5 days. Occasional full-time hours may also be available to cover periods of staff leave or absence.
Working as part of a busy team you will be expected to provide administrative support through the whole process of raising sales invoices, checking purchase invoices against orders processed in the office.
Daily Duties will include:
- Ensuring payments are received on time through contact with clients.
- Producing sales invoices through online portal.
- Handling cheques and card payments
- Administration of payments
- Supporting the sales team with handling calls during busy periods.
- Maintaining supplier records and contacts in database
- General administrative duties as required.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Professional attitude with a good work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Be keen and willing to learn.
- Possess an excellent attention to detail.
- Have excellent numerical skills.
- Be trustworthy and reliable.
- Previous experience is Accounts Administration is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM programs
**Benefits**
- You will receive a salary of £11.50 per hour.
- 20 hours per week - 5 days Mon to Fri - 4 hours per day
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays - Pro Rata
