**Role**
Our client based in Stoke-on-Trent are looking for an experienced Data Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Full configuration of system settings, data and processes to meet the Data Management Team requirements, customer and client demands, providing recommendations for implementing solutions to business problems. Improve the effectiveness of the database tools and services, monitoring database performance and reporting / escalating any impacting issues.
- Identify and contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives within the Asset Planning/Data Management Team and in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis for customer requirements versus existing solutions during transition and transformation activities.
- Monitor and validate the quality of all data submissions, working with the provider to rectify data errors prior to being uploaded into the database.
- Assist in producing operational processes, CMS controlled documentation and work flow processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for further development solutions, supporting the ET&L Specialist & other SDC’s with delivering innovative solutions as required.
- Act as the point of liaison for system faults and escalate all issues.

**Skills and experience**
- Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent / Degree standard desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar technically challenging role.
- Proven MS office skills, particularly Excel which must include advanced functions & formulas, statistical data analysis, dashboards & pivot tables, VBA & macros and other advanced functions preferred.
- Experience in a similar Data Management role.
- Previous experience within an Engineering, Technical or Facilities Management / Administrative type role is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of seniority.

**Additional information**
**Due to the location, you either need to have your own transport or live close to Stoke-on-Trent.**
