With this in mind, we have created a new role, Head of Talent with responsibility for developing and implementing a Talent strategy to identify, attract, develop, and retain the best talent. A critical part of this role will be the development and implementation of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and approach.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior HR professional to join the HR leadership Team to shape and influence the Sunbelt Rentals people and culture agenda. Reporting to the UK & Europe People Director you will create a strategy to establish and implement resourcing and talent management processes and frameworks which will enable the business to recruit, mobilise, develop and retain talented people at all levels, and so meet our present and future resourcing needs.

You’ll be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders across the business to gain buy-in and understanding of the talent agenda and lead the business in effective workforce planning; defining current and future capabilities, career pathways and succession management to ensure we deliver our people plan.

**About You**:
The role requires an individual with deep talent expertise, who can work at a strategic, analytical, and operational level to deliver diverse programmes.

With knowledge of all aspects of the talent management process (attraction, recruitment, development of all levels, including grads and apprenticeships and EDI expertise) you’ll have experience of working with multi-site, operational workforces and providing clear evidence on ROI delivery and metrics.
