ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?*

An opportunity has arisen within our Sales Department, Routeco is looking for an OEM Sales Leader who will be responsible for driving the growing the Routeco footprint within the OEM accounts. This will be achieved by leading a team of OEM Consultants across the UK, whilst managing your own ledger of customers, and to ensure total focus on achieving agreed objectives for the team.

Management of the OEM strategy and deployment to ensure a uniform process across the team.
- The development of the team members to engage at the correct level within the OEM accounts, to ensure progress and demonstration of Routeco’s Value Add Solutions.
- Network with the ASM’s and external sales team to ensure a close working relationship and identification of P1/P2 target account funnel.
- Maintain relationship with Service Centre Managers to ensure the internal sales teams buy into the service level required for accounts.
- Promote the 3 core values used by the OEM team to build a full solution around, Technical, Commercial and Operational benefits.
- Promote the complete range of products and services across all areas of Routeco’s preferred partners
- Effective targeting of OEM accounts alongside the external sales team.
- Build strong relationships with key colleagues at Rockwell
- To ensure a strong relationship and communication line with the ASM’s, EU team, Service centre Managers.
- Produce regular reports on current status, projected targets.
- Take responsibility for sales and profitability of own set of accounts.
- Be accountable for personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with Routeco’ s core competencies and learning and development framework

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO ROUTECO?*

- A good standard of education is required, particularly in Maths & English.
- Ideally the role holder will be qualified to at least ONC level in Electrical Engineering.
- Influencing and motivational skills are critical requirements for the role.
- The job requires the ability to finish projects and take tasks through to their natural conclusion.
- Good day to day planning capabilities are an essential for satisfactory performance
- Technical interests, specialist skills and experience are important for long term success
- Previous experience within a commercial / business to business sales environment is essential, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Automation and Control products
- The role holder will be required to stand up to assertive challenges from others.

Salary of £50,000-£55,000 depending on skills and experience with added bonus scheme based on company results
