Claims Handler job for leading law firm - Newport/Hybrid working
Your new firm
Our client is a leading law firm with offices located globally and working with over 2,500 colleagues. Acting for all of the UK's top-ten insurers, this commercial firm are currently looking for a Claims Handler to join their team based in Newport. Hybrid workingis available however it is anticipated that you will be in the office 2-3 days a week. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience within a driven yet supportive environment.
Your new role
You will be responsible for handling your own caseload for clients who are a mix of leading names in the insurance industry as well as household name corporates, dealing with all aspects of defendant claims handling. You will interact with clients on a dailybasis and support the marketing and business development activity within the team. Other responsibilities include:
- Assume responsibility for quality control and benchmark compliance on your own caseload, including accuracy and timeliness of management reporting and information
- Ensure strict and ongoing adherence to benchmark standards in all work undertaken
- Exercise full compliance with protocols on billing and credit control
- There may be a requirement to work in house with the client
- Handle confidential information in line with the firms' data security protocols
