Location: Evesham, Worcestershire WR11

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is a 52-year-old female living in the Evesham area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Female Personal Assistant to provide support with all daily living tasks for 17.45 hours per week.

Our client has several health issues including Type2 Diabetes and Epilepsy.

Main duties:
**Social duties**:

- keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.
- Access the local community.
- attend medical appointments if required.
- do hobbies such as dog walking, swimming.

**Personal care**: support with washing & dressing, teeth cleaning, administering medication if required.

**Domestic duties**: support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry, ironing and gardening.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

- **Specific requirements**:Someone with previous care & support experience. Must like dogs as there is a dog in the home. Must be a Non-Smoker due to client having rare lung condition.
- **Other**: Due to the nature of this role including medical & personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.

Hours of work: 17.45 hours per week
- AM x 1 hour

Lunch x 30 minutes

PM x 45 minutes

2.5 hours per week to access the local community.

Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour. Skills, qualifications, and experience

**Essential**:

- Driving licence.
- Car and appropriate insurance.
- Previous care & support experience.
- Non-smoker.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Confidentiality.
- good at building relationships.

**Preferred**:

- good communicator.
- a good listener.
- ability to support people with complex care & support needs.

**Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.**

**This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
