An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid Executive to join our London based Client, a rapidly growing public EV charging network that bridges transport, green energy, and the Internet.

As an experienced Bid Executive, you will have experience of the end-to-end bid process, including pre-qualification, tendering, frameworks and public sector portals, internal bid governance, targeted bid-writing and customer presentations creation.

You will
- Support the Bid Manager and Bid Executive with set up, development and maintenance of bid collaboration tools.
- Have involvement in bid storyboarding / response planning sessions.
- Write first drafts of responses to tender questions, ensuring alignment to client requirements.
- Proofread and edit final tender submission documents to ensure accuracy and the correct tone of voice and branding.
- Support the team with the production of case studies and CVs.
- Conduct research for individual tender projects and/or clients to add value to the submission.
- Research and keep abreast of any legislative changes to funding policies, rules, and opportunities, sharing those with relevant stakeholders.

This role will suit someone with
- Proven bid coordination / bid writing experience in a relevant industry, ideally including Energy Solutions / Sustainability Solutions / Environmental Management / Technical Facilities Management.
- Relevant formal qualifications such as APMP Foundation (desirable).
- Related Public Sector bid experience (essential).
- Experience of having worked with the Energy Saving Trust, OZEV and Cenex.
- A results-driven, self-motivated mindset and a strong sales support background.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

The role will be mainly remote as this saves on commuting and provides a calm space to work, but sometimes there will be face to face meetings. You should expect to travel into the office near Aldgate East in London approximately once a week, or whenever the requirement arises.
