**Job Overview**:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. In this role, you will be an essential part of our dedicated care team, providing support and assistance to residents in a healthcare setting.

**Duties**:

- Assist residents with personal care tasks.
- Support residents with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide assistance with toileting and continence care as needed.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote well-being and mental stimulation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including their rooms and communal areas.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents' care plans are implemented effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards caregiving.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
- Basic understanding of healthcare procedures and protocols (training will be provided).
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £17.50-£19.80 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
