Digital Design and Content Executive

**About the opportunity**:
We are currently recruiting a Digital Design and Content Executive to join our Digital Team.
The Digital Design and Content Executive will be pivotal in driving the Poundland digital business forward, by ensuring we have exciting and engaging content to promote our brand, drive sessions to our site and improve the online shopping experience at Poundland and Poundshop Online.
The location will be split between our office in Wednesbury and CSC, Walsall and offers a hybrid working pattern, with the opportunity to study towards an apprenticeship qualification.

- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Background in e-commerce or retail is advantageous.
- Degree in marketing, design or related field would be desirable
- Full knowledge and use of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator) is also a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and concepts.

**What You'll be Doing...**:
- Creating engaging visual and written content to be shared across multiple marketing channels, maintaining brand consistency according to brand guidelines.
- Maintaining and developing website content via CMS, using Google Analytics to make data driven decisions.
- Producing SEO optimised written content to support with search marketing strategy, including blog writing.
- Staying up to date with the latest design trends and digital marketing technologies.
- Monitoring progress of campaigns using various metrics and reporting on performance.
