**Job Title**:Finance and Procurement Assistant

**Location**: Oxfordshire (Hybrid after probation)

**Salary**:£23,000 - £28,000 depending upon experience

Concept
- IT are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance and Procurement Assistant to join one of our growing clients based in South Oxfordshire. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for supporting both financial and procurement activities within the company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the fields of finance and procurement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, credit control, expense reports, and invoices.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Process purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and track orders.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
- Assist in the implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the finance and procurement teams as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Procurement knowledge is an advantage but not essential for this role.
