**Academic and Senior Leadership Team Administrator**

**Accountability**

The Academic and Senior Leadership Team Administrator is accountable to the Deputy Head Academic and to other members of the Senior Leadership Team.

**Main purpose of post**

We require a highly experienced administrator to provide a confidential and efficient administration service to the Deputy Head Academic and to other members of the Senior Leadership Team, when required.

4 weeks are required outside term times
- one in October half term and 2 or 3 in the summer holidays.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Support the Deputy Head Academic with Head of Subject ( HoS) meetings including planning the schedule for HoS meetings working around other School events, booking meetings on SOCS, Room Bookings, submitting Events Form, compiling the agenda, corresponding with HoS, recording apologies, attendance at HoS meetings and writing and distributing minutes.
- Supporting the Deputy Head Academic, working with the Head of Assessment & Tracking and Exams Officer in maintaining and distributing a calendar of key academic dates including examinations, parent consultations, scholarship dates, general staff meetings and HoS meetings, ensuring that key staff and HoS are aware of updates. Entering key dates in SOCS and booking rooms for Parent Consultations and HoS where applicable.
- Working with Deputy Head on term dates including staff training days.
- Help with organising Deputy Head Academic and SLT diaries and organising meetings, where necessary.

**Duties and Responsibilities Continued**:

- Supporting the Deputy Head Academic with the administration associated with GCSE and A Level Options and key option events.
- With regards to internal and external examination data, support the Deputy Head Academic in compilation of key results, data analysis post exam support and CEM data.
- Administration support for the collation of Departmental budgets, Department Handbooks, Record of Requirements, HoS Inspection relevant documentation, Internal and External Exams Analysis, SEF (department & ISI), Subject Development Plans and Reading lists. SMSC and FBV tracking etc. Updating of documents within these areas.
- Help with the administration associated with the organisation of Teach Meets and Digital Learning initiatives.
- Organisation of reviewing and updating curriculum webpages throughout the year liaising with HoS, appropriate HoY and working closely with the Marketing Team.
- Parent Consultations liaise with HoY and Communications re parent invites, sync and set up SchoolCloud for appointments liaising with teaching staff, Deputy Head Academic and Senior Deputy Head, submitting event forms and room layout. Communication with parents and IT support regarding parent access to SchoolCloud, Ensure stock of teacher name plates current. Oversee room set up.
- Activities & Drop-Ins
- create the termly timetables liaising with teachers and HoS to ensure all information is current before sharing with pupils (& parents via Data Administrator upload to iSAMs portal). Support pupil sign-up liaising with the Administration Team Supervisor for further entry into SOCs. Communicate with Marketing to ensure marketing brochures and website reflect current options.
- Facilitate Academic Colours nominations by HoS and finalise the awards to be given. Create certificates in time for Presentation Assembly and arrange with badges for awarding. Keep a record of awardees and stock of badges (for re-ordering).
- Support Learning Support & EAL departments plus More Able provision with administrative tasks as necessary.

**Other duties and responsibilities**:

- Marketing the School at all times to promote the profile of the School, including supporting the Marketing and Admissions Teams with meetings with current and prospective parents/pupils and Open Days.
- Supporting other members of the Senior Leadership Team in an administrative role as and when required

**Salary**: £19,781.00 per year
