Butler Rose are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a renowned private school in Somerset. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insight to support decision making including commercial activities and Financial IT System Implementation. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision making
- Build strong working relationships with senior leaders and budget holders
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts
- Assist in the migration and implementation of new financial reporting systems; probably including working on a new e-commerce platform
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and investigate variances
- Provide financial support and challenge to help improve efficiency and effectiveness across the school
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leaders and governors
- Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to support decision making

**Requirements**:

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Significant experience in a similar Finance Business Partner role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential
