As a Health and Safety Co-ordinator, you will play a key part within the precision engineering company based in Northampton. They are a sister company to an internationally recognised business that are now known as one of the most respected sheet metal fabricationand precision engineering companies in Europe.
The position will be based on the shop floor and the office, and you will maintain the Health and Safety administration systems as well as assessing on-site equipment and machinery.
You will need to be able to or have an understanding of the following:

- Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident
- Improve Health and Safety in the workplace
- Educate employees on Health and Safety protocols
- Monitor staff to evaluate Health and Safety laws are being followed
- Plan and implement policies and programmes
- Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace
- Conduct risk assessments
The starting salary offered is between £25,000 and £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) based on a 40-hour week with overtime available both during the week and weekends.
Your working hours will be 08:30 AM to 17:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 08:30 AM to 16:00 PM (Friday).
