Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday with flexibility

Location: Hybrid - Home working & from our depot in Northampton

About the role of Commercial Administrator:
The Commercial Administrator role is a critical and highly valued role within the Commercial Team. You will deliver an exceptional internal customer and colleague experience by working collaboratively to provide support to the wider Commercial team.

Key tasks vary, but will include:

- Supporting the Quantity Surveyor in delivering and exceeding the budgeted performance.
- Monitoring and maintaining data within the company in house works management system.
- Ensuring timely responses to client enquiries
- Tracking change within NEC contracts and updating clients
- Assisting the Quantity Surveyor with aged debt, cash collection and escalating if needed.
- Contributing to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, including ensuring costs and revenue in correct periods.

- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong administrative skills
- Interest in working within a commercial environment
- Confident to work with a IT/Digital system led solution to commercial management
- Self-Motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive 'can-do' attitude
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Meticulous attention to detail

What else looks good as a Commercial Administrator (Desirable):

- Working knowledge of Traffic Management.
- Experience gained within a similar commercial administration role
- Previous demonstrable, experience in quantity surveying
- After qualifying period of 2 years
