**HR / Recruitment Assistant**
Our client based in Addlestone is looking for an HR / Recruitment Assistant o help them on a 3 month contract with the following: To assist in providing a comprehensive HR service, focussing particularly on recruitment activities, including preparing andplacing adverts, organising interviews, medical clearance and references, and preparing contracts of employment and providing generic first line support and advice to staff and managers.
Our client is offering hybrid working with 2 days working from home although you will be expected to be in the office in the first couple of weeks for training.
**Your key role will be**:
- Liaise with managers on recruitment - agreeing recruitment timetables, drafting and placing adverts, organising applicant packs and arranging interviews.
- Assist in the implementation of selection exercises as needed
- Drafts contract documentation for new appointments, undertaking pre-employment checks such as eligibility to work in the UK, medical clearance, references, Disclosure and Barring and BPSS clearance as necessary.
- Maintains computerised Human Resources records for staff
- Update HR information on intranet and website
- Assists with the administration of Training and Development courses and records
- Undertakes general admin duties including photocopying, scanning, filing and dealing with queries from employees, managers and members of the public.
- Provides first line Human Resources and employment law information and advice to staff and managers, referring to HR Officer if required.
- Proven previous HR experience - ideally CIPD qualified
- Previous on-boarding / recruitment experience
- Well organised and able to prioritise
- Able to start at the beginning of June
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate and experience with HR / recruitment systems
