**About the role**

This is a new and exciting role within our Asset Valuation & Pricing team. In this role you will manage and be responsible for the day to day activities of the team, working in a business priority model. You’ll be a point of contact for the rest of the business for more complex queries that may arise around the discounts and pricing area. You’ll take an active role in process improvement, training and developing within the role and the team to ensure a constant incline in efficiency. Supporting the Operational Pricing Specialist with their tasks, you’ll focus on further development and covering workloads when they are on leave.

Within this role you will need to interpret manufacturer and dealer agreements (terms and discounts) and then load these into our system (called DRIVE). This information is then used by a range of business areas (such as Account Managers) when quoting customers. Clearly, it's vitally important that the information inputted is accurate so that our quotes are also accurate so that we maintain margins and don't lose money.

**About you**

We are looking for someone who has a reputation for ensuring first class accuracy in their work. Your attention to detail will be second to none whilst working to strict deadlines and under pressure. To help in this role you will need strong organisation and you will be able to prioritise your workload. It's also really important that you are a confident communicator as there are often discussions in this team that are vital to ensure everyone is following the same rules and process. In addition, we are always looking to improve our offering and process so are interested in attracting someone who has experience of process analysis and improvement.

An understanding of the quotation process, and some experience of dealer and manufacturer agreements would be the icing on the cake. Lastly, you will be proficient across Microsoft tools, in particular Excel, we need someone who is confident and capable with Pivot tables and V Look Ups.

**Key skills and attributes you’ll need to be successful in this role**:

- Attention to detail when working to tight deadlines and managing varying workloads
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, including able to build effective working relationships within numerous internal departments
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel - able to do Pivot tables, V Look Ups
- Be a confident communicator and happy to question processes to determine if they can be improved
- Confident using systems and databases and reporting
- Comfortable to question, analyse and interpret data.
- Experience of creating continuous improvements and change management
