We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Working across various departments you will be expected to demonstrate an ability to manage your own workload with mínimal supervision and possess strong communication skills.

As our Payroll and Accounts Officer your duties will include but are not limited to:
**Payroll**
- Calculate and process employee salaries and wages accurately
- Manage deductions, including taxes, benefits, and contributions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and employment regulations
- Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as needed
- Complete year-end payroll processes and reporting
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll matters
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations

**Book-keeping/Accounts Administration assistance**
- Purchase ledger duties
- Staff expenses
- Reconciliation of credit card accounts
- Updating ledgers through use of Sage 50
- Banking
- Data entry and maintaining records
- Other ad hoc duties as required

**Essential skills required are**
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- Experience using Sage 50 Accounts + Sage 50 Payroll
- Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Ability to manage own workload with mínimal supervision
- Maths and English to higher level or equivalent
- Proven ability to problem-solve
- Well organised
- Flexible and adaptable

**Desirable skills**
- Book-keeping work experience
- Experience helping to create or update company policies
- Previous experience in an agency environment

This full-time role will be Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm daily.

**Please note this is an office-based role, not a working from home opportunity.**

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
