The Compliance Co-Ordinator plays an essential role in fulfilling the compliance strategy for the Engineering function and integrating it into the operational plan of the delivery team. This position ensures compliance across the Engineering function and embeds a clear understanding of compliance requirements within all delivery teams.

This role will collaborate closely with delivery teams to identify business risks and develop appropriate control measures and improve strategies. Success in this role centres on effectively conveying the importance of compliance to delivery teams and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of the compliance strategy by working with the Engineering teams.
- Ensure there is compliance with ISO standards and continuous improvement of the management system.
- Leading Development of reporting and KPI’s across the whole team, to install a culture where accountability is clear.
- Understand the risk development of current asset base and identify future opportunities.
- Carry out assurance to ensure compliance.
- Permit to work approvals.
- Support documentation improvement works.
- Attend and engage in governance meetings.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with a challenging and analytical approach to complex issues and developing innovative solutions.
- Proven track record in a delivery of compliance within a complex workplace.
- Strong collaborative working and influential skills, with the ability to model and demonstrate appropriate behaviors to lead change.

**You’ll ideally have**:

- IOSH/ NEBOSH Preferable, or alternatively Fire, Health and Safety Training experience.
